Serial Killers: The Experience is different for many reasons — the main one being that this museum is owned and operated by an actual American Profiler, Phil Chalmers, who is present most days. This is an educational museum, from the mind of the man who not only talks to serial killers but has trained law enforcement and the FBI for decades.
Phil tackles the myths of today's serial killers and teaches guests about these dangerous killers, all from his firsthand interviews. Are serial killers born or made? What is a serial killer? How do we keep from becoming a victim? Who is the deadliest, the youngest, the oldest? These questions and more are answered in this boutique museum — only in Myrtle Beach.
There is no other museum in the world owned and operated by the person who actually talks to these monsters. And Phil is on hand to answer your questions, sign a book, or take a photo.

How long does a visit take?
Most guests spend about two to three hours. The museum is self-guided, so you can move at your own pace.
Is photography allowed?
No — Serial Killers: The Experience is a phone-free museum. No photos or video are permitted of displays or artifacts. You're welcome to take photos in the lobby, and Phil is happy to take one with you.
Are there discounts?
Yes — Myrtle Beach residents, military and veterans, and first responders receive a $30 rate. These must be purchased at the door with valid ID or proof of address.
Is the museum family friendly?
Guests 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 9 and under are free.
Do I need to arrive at my ticket time?
If you buy on Eventbrite, you may arrive any time on the date printed on your ticket. Please visit on that same date.
