Who We Are
Serial Killers: The Experience is a true crime museum at 514 Broadway Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, owned and operated by Phil and Wendi Chalmers. This policy covers this website. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.
What We Collect
Information you give us. If you fill in our contact or group-booking form, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you enter. If you sign up for Phil’s monthly newsletter, we receive your email address. That is the only personal information this site asks you for.
Information collected automatically. Our host, Cloudflare, records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to serve the site securely and to diagnose faults.
We do not operate user accounts, and we do not take payments on this website.
How We Use It
To answer your enquiry, arrange a group booking, and keep records of correspondence. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below who help us operate the site.
Service Providers
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website.
Resend delivers email sent from our forms and newsletter signups.
Google Analytics measures site usage, only after you consent.
Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used here. Loading them sends your IP address to Google.
Google Maps is embedded on our Visit page so you can find us. Google may set cookies when that map loads.
Eventbrite sells our tickets. When you click through to buy, you leave this site and Eventbrite's own privacy policy applies to anything you enter there.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use this site — which pages are read, which links are followed, and roughly where visitors come from. It is configured with Google Consent Mode, which means nothing is stored on your device and no analytics data is collected until you press Accept on the banner shown on your first visit.
If you press Decline, or simply ignore the banner, analytics stays switched off. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.
This website sets no advertising cookies. The embedded Google Map on our Visit page is a third-party element that may store cookies when it loads.
Your Choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond.

Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Guests aged 17 and under must visit the museum with a parent or guardian.
