Artifacts That Illuminate Motive & Method
Rare, original artifacts that offer direct, tangible links to some of America's most notorious cases — curated with strict ethical standards by profiler Phil Chalmers.
Each item — a handwritten letter, a personal belonging, an investigative document, a reconstructed crime-scene piece — is a primary source. Not a souvenir, but a forensic witness.
More than 450 serial killers are featured across over 200 historical artifacts, in four unique areas of the museum. As you move through them, consider how each piece helps answer the questions that matter: motive, method, and the systems that respond to violent crime. This is the only permanent serial killer museum in the world, owned and operated by an American Profiler, Phil Chalmers — the man who talks to killers.
A Boutique Museum. Four Rooms. Countless Nightmares.
Four unique areas — including a brand-new immersive experience opening October 1st. Every artifact is a primary source, not a souvenir.
The Dexter Room
Inspired by the infamous TV killer, the Dexter Room gathers the vampires, body collectors and the worst Phil has interviewed — Dean Corll, the Tool Box Killers, the Hillside Stranglers, David Parker Ray and more — around a chillingly familiar kill-table centerpiece.
One of four themed rooms, each built to trace how motive, method and opportunity collide.

The Haunted Hallway
The dim corridor between the themed rooms is part of the experience — lined with 20+ more cases, from the Lipstick Killer to the Golden State Killer, and watched over by baby dolls perched in the ductwork.

The Mindhunter Room
The museum's largest room lines a single wall with 130+ profiles — Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Richard Ramirez, Dennis Rader (BTK) and more — surrounded by authenticated artifacts, from a handwritten “Helter Skelter” manuscript to HH Holmes' 1896 wax-cylinder confession.
Phil has interviewed many of the men on these walls, Manson among them.

Dahmer's Own Eyeglasses
The real, authenticated glasses Jeffrey Dahmer wore in his 1991 booking photo — verified by provenance experts and preserved under museum conditions.
One of dozens of one-of-a-kind pieces Phil received directly from the killers and their cases — including Dahmer's apartment silverware, Charles Manson's copy of Helter Skelter, HH Holmes' 1896 wax-cylinder confession, and the Hillside Strangler's handprint.
