GRAND OPENING EVENT

Be part of history at the Grand Opening Weekend of the Phil Chalmers True Crime Museum in beautiful Myrtle Beach — happening Memorial Day Weekend, May 23–25!

This brand-new museum is dedicated to the history of American serial crime, featuring over 150 cases and hundreds of authentic true crime artifacts. It’s the only museum of its kind focused exclusively on American serial killers — owned and operated by someone who has interviewed hundreds of them:

American Profiler Phil Chalmers.

Welcome to Phil Chalmers’ True Crime Museum, located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are located at 514 Broadway Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and open daily from 10am - 6pm.

The museum is owned and operated by American Profiler Phil Chalmers, who is a 41-year veteran profiler, law enforcement trainer, true crime writer, true crime podcaster, and a television personality. Phil has been studying violent offenders for four decades, and has personally interviewed hundreds of dangerous killers, including 250 Serial Killers alone. Phil not only owns this museum, but he is there most days to interact with guests and answer questions.

This museum is an educational museum focused on True Crime and Serial Killers, guaranteed to teach visitors something new about true crime and serial murder. Visitors will also learn about dozens of new cases they have never heard of before and leave separating fact from fiction.

The museum houses hundreds of historical artifacts that Phil received from the Serial Killers themselves, and contains artifacts like Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment silverware, a clown mask from inside John Wayne Gacy’s home, BTK’s art set from his prison cell, and Jeffrey Dahmer’s eyeglasses.

LIVE SHOWS

STARTING JUNE 11, 2026

One of the museum’s standout features is its lineup of live shows held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, each centered on a different true‑crime theme. A crowd favorite is Serial Killers 101, performed most weekends and well worth planning around. Every ticket to a LIVE show also includes a same‑day pass to explore the museum.

The LIVE evening shows are hosted by American profiler Phil Chalmers, who has spent 41 years interviewing notorious offenders such as Charles Manson, Son of Sam, and BTK—along with hundreds of others. Phil is a true‑crime author, podcaster, and television personality. During a LIVE show, you’ll dive into the minds of dangerous killers, review real crime‑scene photos, and even speak with convicted serial killers as they call into the show live from prison.

We’ll also feature special holiday shows this year, including a Halloween event and a Christmas show. Tickets start $60 and include a same‑day museum pass. Seating is limited and shows sell out nightly, so be sure to secure your tickets early.

Tickets are non‑refundable, as our shows depend on advance sales. More details about each show can be found below.
